The "PHOENIX" line-up brings together four seasoned professionals with decades of combined experience:

Dave Weir

Keyboards, Guitar & Vocals

Dave brings a varied and rich musical heritage, starting his career in The Lake District before progressing through successful bands in Newcastle and Liverpool. Now settled with Phoenix in Cambridgeshire, Dave specialises in keyboard work with the band but occasionally showcases his unique guitar style on select numbers.

Ken Johnson

Bass Guitar & Vocals

Co-Founder of Phoenix alongside Dave, Ken is a formidable bass player who also serves as the band's Sound and Light technician. His professional background spans several successful bands across the London and Cambridgeshire areas, bringing technical excellence and reliable musicianship to every performance.

Terry Vials

Drums

With a professional drumming career spanning many years and several famous bands, Terry is the perfect "anchor man" for Phoenix. His excellent technique and solid rhythmic foundation are essential to the band's dynamic and energetic performances.

Tony Frier

Vocals & Lead Guitar

A brilliant guitarist whose solo work is second to none, Tony brings over 50 years of professional musical experience since 1970. With a fine vocal voice and exceptional lead guitar skills, Tony has been a Phoenix member for over 5 years and uses his talents to great effect in every performance.
